During 2009 Billerud has adopted a collective, formalised position on sustainability issues and the 2009 Annual Report includes the company’s first sustainability report in accordance with Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) guidelines.
Billerud has also joined the UN Global Compact, drawn up a new Code of Conduct that reflects the company’s ethical values and thus adopted a clear position on issues relating to human rights, social conditions and environmental consideration.
