Non-harmful processes
We will observe all legal restrictions and aim to meet all conditions with a good margin. We seek a reduced environmental impact by using renewable raw materials, non-harmful production processes that use minimal resources, efficient treatment methods and environmentally adapted transport.
Environmentally adapted products
We aim to produce and sell pulp and paper that meets the demands of the market and society. We seek the smallest possible environmental impact throughout the life cycle of our products. When developing new products we pay great attention to environmental aspects.
Awareness of natural cycles
We aim to reduce the amount of waste sent as landfill and increase the level of recycling by observing natural cycles.
Environmental management system
Within the framework of an environmental management system we will carry out programmes that have as their goal continuous improvement of safety and production and treatment processes. All our employees will receive training so that they can take active responsibility for the environment in their daily work. We also place environmental demands on our suppliers and sub-contractors.
Environmental issues are important for our mills and for the development and future of the company as a whole. They therefore have priority both for the short and long term.
