Billerud’s broad range of packaging and speciality paper includes grades that have the right properties for all possible protection and packaging solutions. Our papers are made of 100 % primary fiber for the highest purity and strength. All qualities are approved for packaging of food.
White MF
Our white, machine finished calandered grades offer great strength and runability as well as a smooth paper surface. Like all our packaging papers, they meet the purity and food safety requirements. Available in the 60- 120 g/m2 grammage range, these papers are primarily used for carrier bags and form & fill packaging applications, but can also be used for sacks with high printing demands.
White MG
While strong, stiff and clean, the high gloss and surface smoothness of our white one-side glazed grades feature excellent printability and appearance. In addition, the even paper profiles provide first rate runability and convertibility. If your application calls for reduced grammages, some of our grades are available as low as 22 g/m2. Various types of flexible packaging, consumer bags, release liner and medical packaging are just a few examples of applications where our MG grades are a popular choice.
White Clay-Coated
Billerud’s white clay-coated grades are ideal if you’re looking for strength, combined with the best possible printing, coating and lamination characteristics. Examples include release liner, luxury carrier bags, pet food sacks and bags for readdy-made bread mixes.
White sack paper
Billerud's white sack paper meets the toughest demands for strength, purity, printing and appearance. Our range of white sack paper covers everything from standard paper for sewn sacks to advanced, high-porosity paper for fast filling of powdered goods such as building materials, chemicals and food. The even profile of the paper means that it runs well in fast, modern machinery. Our white sack paper is approved in accordance with the German norms for transport of dangerous goods.
Brown sack paper
Our strongest papers are found in our brown sack paper range. High strength combined with good operation in converting machines means that strong, cost-efficient packaging can be made using our paper. Brown sack paper has a wide range of applications, including sacks for cement, food and animal feed. Our brown sack paper is approved in accordance with the German norms for transport of dangerous goods.
White Unglazed
As a complement to our more advanced grades, our white unglazed papers are the strongest among grades featuring the high stiffness required for superior runability. The unglazed grades also offer high bulk.
Brown unglazed
These strong, stiff and bulky grades are a costefficient alternative to rough natural looking packaging as well as sturdy carrier bags. They offer excellent runability and convertibility, while meeting all food safety standards.
