We are looking for a Senior Manager Operations Development
At Billerud, we are committed to work with continuous improvements enhancing our operational performance. We are currently on an exciting journey to transform and improve our production landscape. From a diverse environment shaped by numerous acquisitions, we are moving towards one Billerud through a common production system.
As our Senior Manager Operations Development, you will lead the ongoing development and implementation of our production system, driving enhancements in our operational efficiency (OEE) to increase production efficiency and optimize our resources and assets. You will be part of our central Operations Development team with its purpose to increase the production efficiency at our mills. The central team consists of three team members, and works closely with the local Operations Development teams at each mill.
Your main tasks will be:
- Lead the development and act as owner of the Billerud Production System, with focus on production efficiency (OEE) and process efficiency.
- Lead the implementation of Billerud Production System across the Billerud Europe sites. Coordinate roll-out, support local resources and facilitate the change journey.
- Be part of Operations Development Forum; facilitate cross-mill collaboration, lead and drive defined initiatives, support local implementations.
- Contribute to developing and implementing Billerud´s digitalization road map.
- Contribute to developing and leading the way towards Billerud´s Future Mill vision.
You report to the Senior Director Operations Development. The position is based at one of our Swedish mills (Karlsborg, Gävle, Frövi, Gruvön, or Skärblacka) or in our head office in Solna, Stockholm. The position will require travelling to our production units across Sweden on weekly basis.

Kvalifikationer
To succeed in this position, we believe you have:
- Relevant Engineering education
- Several years’ experience of leading operational excellence/continuous improvement initiatives (such as LEAN, WCM) in the process industry. Pulp & Paper experience is advantageous.
- Experience in leading change management, coaching groups and leaders through change.
- Experience in driving and following up on improvement projects.
- Experience of navigating and utilizing modern digital tools and systems.
- Fluency in both Swedish and English, written and spoken.
