We are now looking for an experienced Azure Infrastructure Specialist with experience in building and operating Azure infrastructure platform
Billerud's IT organization is expanding and in this new role, you will have the main responsibility for building and operating the infrastructure on a globally available, high-performance and secure Azure platform. You'll use your expertise to manage GitOps/DevOps, networks and resources and PaaS environments. Your role involves collaborating with the security team to manage Azure security and building and driving monitoring and visibility for both platform and applications.
In this role, you are responsible for:
- Build and run repos and pipelines for GitOps/DevOps
- Build and run networks and resources
- Management of PaaS environments
- Management of Azure platform through GitOps/DevOps
- Management of Azure security together with Security Team
- Build and run monitoring and observability (both platform and application)
- Support and coach Internal Staff learning above areas
You will report to the Manager of IT Network & Security and be based onsite at one of our Swedish units: Gävle, Skärblacka, Frövi, Gruvön, Karlsborg (Kalix) or at our head office in Solna, Stockholm.
Overtime, on-call duty and travel in service within Sweden and potentially to north America may occur occasionally.

Qualifications
To succeed in the role of Azure Specialist, we believe you have relevant academic education, or equivalent experience and preferably good experience in building and drive an Azure platform. In summary we see that you have solid experience in all, or most, of the below areas:
- Azure platform, network & polices management
- Azure DevOps for GitOps Management & PaaS services management
- Infrastructure as code with Bicep
- Secure development lifecycle experience
- Knowledge in Powershell scripting
- We support Billerud globally and fluency in both English and Swedish is important.
Workplace & conditions
- This is an onsite position at one of our Swedish locations. Hybrid work is possible in line with our company policy (up to 2 remote days per week or depending on project needs).
- Please note: We do not offer relocation packages and applicants requires a valid Swedish work permit
