As Head of Group Internal Audit, you will lead this transition together with a small team of direct reports , dedicated to providing independent, objective assurance and advisory services across financial, operational, IT, and compliance areas. You will be responsible for developing and executing a risk-based audit plan, reporting findings to executive management and the Audit Committee, and driving continuous improvement throughout the organization, shaping a modern, insight-driven function that supports the business with integrity and impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Audit Leadership: Develop and maintain a comprehensive, risk-based internal audit plan. Lead the planning, execution, and reporting of audits across all business areas, including financial, operational, IT, and compliance.
  • Assurance & Advisory: Provide independent assurance on the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management, and governance processes. Advise management on control enhancements and risk mitigation.
  • ERM & Risk Management: Evaluate and provide assurance over the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework. Collaborate with risk owners to ensure effective identification, assessment, and mitigation of key risks.
  • Remediation & Follow-up: Track and monitor the implementation of audit recommendations, supporting management in driving timely and effective remediation.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as a key liaison to external auditors and other assurance providers, ensuring alignment and minimizing duplication of efforts.
  • Audit Committee: Support committee work, including scheduling, agendas, and documentation.
  • Speak-Up Line: Oversee the Speak-Up Line process in collaboration with Legal & Compliance, ensuring robust whistleblower management and investigation procedures.

You reports functionally to the Audit Committee and administratively to the CFO. The position is based at our HQ in Solna, Sweden and will require occasional international travel.
